Elk Grove Aquatics Center is Proof that Steve Ly Delivers Real Results

The Elk Grove Aquatics Center finally opened on May 25, 2019. The $42 million project at Civic Center Drive features a 50-meter pool, six-lane fitness and instructional pool, a recreational pool, and two 30-foot water slides.

Did you know the Aquatics Center project had been in development for over a decade?

The project was operating over budget, and there were multiple delays due to weather and construction issues.  In fact, the Elk Grove Aquatics Center was supposed to open a year earlier in 2018. Thankfully, one person was able to overcome these delays and produce real results for the people of Sacramento County.

That person is Steve Ly.

Serving as the proud Mayor of Elk Grove, Steve Ly took control of a project in the works for more than ten years and over budget from a construction and operations standpoint.  He re-envisioned the project to create a facility that was affordable to build, didn’t cut corners, and would be something the community could enjoy for generations.

It’s no surprise Steve Ly accomplished this feat. He gave the people of Elk Grove multiple civic amenities and enhanced infrastructure throughout the district. Steve Ly reduced crime to its lowest in history as the Elk Grove City Mayor between 2016 and 2020.

The Sacramento County District 5 needs a Supervisor who can get the job done. With expertise and experience in delivering REAL RESULTS, there’s only one logical choice for District 5 Sacramento County Supervisor, and that’s Steve Ly.
